A1 List (click for contact details)

The Bullmastiff Association will support persons for inclusion to the A1 List who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award CCs in the breed and have completed their first appointment.

A2 List

The Bullmastiff Association will support persons for inclusion to the A2 List who have fulfilled the criteria for inclusion on the A3 List and have been approved by the Kennel Club for the A2 List.

A3 List Breed Specialists

The Bullmastiff Association will support persons for inclusion on the A3 List who have fulfilled the following criteria

  1. Demonstrated a successful showing experience or breeding programme which should include either showing or breeding at least one dog who has qualified for entry into the Kennel Club Stud Book.

  2. To have owned or bred a minimum of three dogs of the breed when they obtained their first entry into the Kennel Club Stud Book.

  3. To have a minimum of seven years judging experience of the Breed, which must include a Breed Club Show and at least four General Canine Societies Open Shows.

  4. To have judged a minimum of 100 dogs.

  5. To have stewarded for a minimum period of three years and twelve shows at either Open or Championship level [At least one of which should be at Championship level]

  6. To have attended Judging Seminars and passed an assessment.

  7. They must also agree that they are prepared to write show critiques, as requested by the dog press and if judging a club show, supply a copy for the clubs newsletter.

A3 List Non Specialists

The bullmastiff Association will support persons for inclusion on the A3 List Non Specialists who fulfil the following criteria.

  1. A minimum of seven years judging experience in any one breed [to include six years in Bullmastiff]

  2. To have judged at least one Bullmastiff Club Open Show with a minimum of 50 dogs.

  3. To have judged a minimum of 150 Bullmastiffs.

  4. To have awarded CCs in at least one breed.

  5. To have attended Bullmastiff Breed judging seminars and passed an assessment.

  6. To have bred and/ or owned a minimum of three dogs of any breed when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book [Save in exceptional circumstance]

B List Breed Specialists

The Bullmastiff Association will support any person for inclusion to the B list who has:

  1. Owned and exhibited the breed for a minimum period of five years.

  2. Judged 12 classes of this breed at Open Shows or Championship without CCs.

  3. Attended Breed judging seminars.

B List Non Specialists

The Bullmastiff Association will support any persons for inclusion on the B List who has:

  1. Shown a genuine interest in the breed and has a minimum of 3 years judging experience in any other breed.

  2. Judged 12 classes of the breed at Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs Classes of less than 3 exhibits will not count.

  3. Attended Breed judging seminars.


C List

The Bullmastiff Association will support aspirant judges for inclusion on the C List if they have shown a genuine interest for the breed and have attended Breed judging seminars.
